Hi there! My name is Nicolette, but you can call me Nic.

Born and raised in the greater Los Angeles area, diversity in architecture has always surrounded me and filled me with wonder. This admiration and curiosity led me to study Interior Design at Northern Arizona University. Going to school was just the beginning, and technical knowledge is a wonderful start, but where I thrive is in the field, doing what I love, and seeing a vision come to life.

There’s something about the alchemy of what was, what is, and what can be that fills my creative cup. My approach to design starts with the environment a space exists in and the pieces of the puzzle that will remain so that they can be honored and infused into its next life. The past informs the present and creates opportunity for the future. I believe that design should have those principles intentionally steeped into every space. Restoring and creating history through interiors is what I yearn for.

I am enamored and inspired by layered, playful, yet sophisticated design. I am incredibly drawn to spaces that don’t take themselves too seriously but hold a grounded presence. Rich patterns in harmony with mixed materials and natural elements are my jam. Vintage pieces and sculptural components are always a good idea, and deep hues are a must. When I walk into a space, I want to feel the flourishing life that’s been breathed into it, and that’s certainly how I want the world to experience what I create.

I’m Nic, and this is how I take up space.
